Ontario Snowmobile Wrecking Yard

visa for a dream

Well about waiting to go I want to talk more about that ...

After obtaining the Certificat de sélection du Québec, waiting for a visa for each country is different. For Latin America, Brazilians give us potatoes and dry and they expect about 9 months. As I said in last post we Colombians must wait 16 months (moral but we Cubans have to wait 22 months). Now the big question: WHY SO MUCH DELAY!!

For half there I did research and there are several factors that influence waiting times in each country:

1. 's share of the annual immigration Canada: In 2009 Canada will receive between 240 000 and 265 000 immigrants, and well of course, there are more approved claims that the number of "seats" as it were, then the old applications to pass in first be filling quotas. And those who stay, guess ... To wait until next year! (Encomiendense the holy Job). Of course, this system changed this year, say that one is lining up to enter Canada. The oldest people are the following to fill the quota this year but oh oh ... Now people engaged in occupations in demand so first come first are not in line ... We are not played that system, too bad for our careers if they are in demand.

2. Refugees and asylees fakers: In the case of Colombia, where we have an agreement with Canada for the protection of refugees and asylees, as they say, is a very noble gesture on both sides but there is only one little problem ... is that the vast majority of such lawsuits are fictitious, ie these people are not at any risk or anything, and how are you visas are "life or death" are other characters who skip the line, this is a very delicate and unfair, the Canadian government already knows but can not do anything about it. If you keep filling the patience will come the day the agreement is completed and the big hit as always, for the sins, people will be victims of the Colombian conflict and other situations that actually do need these protective mechanisms.

3. Colombia ... How great you are!: In the case of Colombia, the embassy should arrange visas throughout Colombia and Ecuador also claims ... is a large territory for one embassy.

And so good for the curious that as we think of because there were so late in broad strokes the reasons why we are here and our dreams there.

Fireplace Grate Heat Exchanger Reviews

Beginning

Hello everyone.

With this blog we hope help with the other posts we've found our compatriots and other Latinos, people wishing to settle in the region of Quebec and for those who like us are in the process, waiting for our visas.

Emigration is a decision which we do not repent, we are a childless couple (yet) and all that we do to ensure a better future for our family.

Something that has caused me personally very curious about lately is to see that there is no clarity as to the number of months to be expected from shipping papers and delivery of the visa. In a first step, send papers to the embassy Québec for obtaining sponsorship of the region, it should take between 8 and 12 months. The last stage with the Canadian embassy should take between 13 and 16 months for the visa. In our case this day we have waited 13 months, although no order has come for medical tests, but we are calm. I say I'm surprised because I found several comments from people who had their interview in September 2008 and celebrated this Christmas as if it were the latter, when in reality it is not.

And as good as all the other bloggers, I invite you to comment, criticize, write me in order to make this space suyo, generalmente cuando uno piensa salir del pais o esta en el proceso, espera encontrar testimonios de otras personas para decidirse.

Con algo de suerte, espero que este blog revele las vivencias de una pareja de colombianos desde sus ultimos meses en su amada patria hasta su instalacion (exitosa) en Québec.

Abrazos.
