Thankyou Christian Quotes

searches and Meetings.

not trying to find a simple apartment. It was found the headquarters from which we would begin our new life. And, as did the two Colombians with four suitcases to find their land autoprometida? This is the story:

had already told them we had a reservation at the Auberge International from Colombia. Housed there, admittedly cried our first night in this city. Housed there did all the steps to a new resident to do (walking) due to its location on Centre-Ville. Staying there, our Liaison officer Stratégie Carrière took us to our first tour around the city. Don Ivan housed there called us to ask how we were going with everything and give us encouragement. Staying there we learned to take the bus and traveled between bus and walking around the city looking for an apartment. We spent nine days housed and so have no reason to complain of the hostel so we would like.
This is the dining lodge.

The search of the apartment had several challenges in itself. We to find one free before the first of July. And is that 90% of the contracts will expire on that day and everyone moves on July, when you see them tell the whole circus is. It was May and we could not wait that long. Challenge number two: they were very close to a bus stop as we have no car and walk in winter would come to be as a means of suicide for those tropical souls. Challenge three: Obviously we liked.

Apartments
saw five. The first apartment was a suggestion of SANA. That is, the SANA make appointments to go see apartments and assigned a benevolent one for a ride and talk to one. As if we were little children. But for us that aid was of gold, is a little hard for a quick visit with his newly learned French in Colombia, communicating with a really, really Québec, with its accent (which they say they have, that those who have accents are the others) his accent half cowboy / French mixed with English / expressions indigenous / who knows what the hell else. Overall, our benevolent SANA took us from the apartment in question. This was in poor condition (dirt of the Paleozoic era), although they promised to fix it, we do not really like the residents of the building very noisy, we were holding it for at least a year.

The hostel kitchen, this is what we are really interested, you can cook and prepared foods are very expensive here.

The second apartment was a man who did not understand a damn what he said, quoting myself and I did not even know how I made carnations. It was as if speaking in another language that does not exist on the planet. That day we accompanied a kind of SANA, a man Québec which also had some difficulties to understand him. Imagine this man could talk as if his countrymen will not even understand it. Well the apartment needed an exorcism to get the nicotine they had, but it was fine. We were tempted to say yes, until the day we returned by bus alone and we realized that it was difficult to go by bus. Another discarded.
Laviolette This park is very beautiful, is near Stratégie Carrière.

The third ... I went to see why we made the appointment, only to be served. After making myself an appointment by phone, we realized, looking at the location on google maps, which is in the tail of the cow. We need to take two different buses to a distance of nearly an hour. The owner? Very friendly (the first cool that we found) ended up talking about anything but flat. In the end, and Mr. knew I was not at all interested in the apartment, but at least talk time with someone.

the room. Also I made the appointment myself. When we arrived I jumped for joy. The colors of the walls, appliances ... I finally found it! My husband was not so optimistic and will soon know why. I said yes once and the concierge very rude asked us things like our work situation (knowing that we did not use became more sour) our legal situation in the country (or at the airport made us so many questions) and good interrogation to tell us that he informed the owner of the apartment and called us to give us that right. Well no it is not rented because we fall so as not very While the concierge. It's more the guy never called, but we told Don Ivan and himself called to find out what had happened. And what a favor that made us not wanting to! Another
photic port. That bridge you see in the background is called Laviolette. For this sector is the park of the previous photo.

Del SANA
made us an appointment to view an apartment. Actually, I was with disappointment from which we had denied. And just because I had made that appointment for us. Wanted only to call to confirm the time of the visit. So I called myself. Reluctantly, and without knowing that was our apartment winner.

The story of our apartment, I leave for the next post. Not because he is tired or anything, let me despite the plot (again) but it is much better not to tire the eyes and the next continue with the story ... We stayed at the May 6, the day he finally found our home.

Gallstones And Leg Problems

The Arrival, Part II: Quebec a Trois-Rivières

In spring something funny happens with the weather: You can dawns sunny in the afternoon gets cold, very cold. Or vice versa. Or simply that the climate is maintained. Nature has not yet fully awake (we're talking about May) and are the ravages of winter everywhere, incomplete sidewalks ... if, if, as in Colombia decayed, medium build, streaks of snow turned into mud in the parks, trees undressed as if they were still confused ... and then we went to us. We had our hearts in the spring.

On the flight to Toronto we were very excited. Our first departure. That rich. That Warehousemen. Many expectations. In Quebec and we were more optimistic and hopeful cansaditos but ... dreamers. Realizing that Canada is on planet earth. Is not as rosy as we imagine. The reality is that ... the reality. Here in Colombia, in China in Patagonia ... is the same planet.

But what we feel when we landed in Trois-Rivières (!!!) ... It's hard to explain. I can only say it's like when the day is beautiful, sunny and warm, and suddenly a mushy gray cloud with icy winds causing considerable damage. So. Suddenly we were alone. ALONE. We got off the bus and there was nobody there. We had a reservation at a hostel but did not see a taxi or anything. NOTHING. Tired

looking ugly streets, carrying our bags, the little that unites us to Colombia, almost sorry I'd say. With mastitis uproar. PAILS as they say in my country.

We arrived at the shelter because we got to the Delta hotel and the receptionist asked for a taxi. It was five in the afternoon and it was cold outside but inside. We had the frozen heart. Thinking about parting. Thinking about all the words that gave us our relatives before leaving. Very hard. Very ugly. Very Nak Nak.

Hostel Hotel to travel less than two minutes in the taxi. Once in our room, we found encouragement to each other each hiding her sadness. Only for love, frankly the mood was not quite enough, no one knew which one was more enguayabado. And it hurt even more not being able to rejoice at each other but at least we understood each other perfectly. We conclude that sleep was all we could do, so we had every intention to repeat all the itinerary and return to our country. Seriously, we wanted to return, at which time the exchange of one country by another unknown was not worth the effort.

The following day we had already planned many activities from Colombia. We were going to get the NAS, we were going to take the Carte Soleil, which opened the joint account, which clearly call home. Before I tell you that follow us here we are supporting two organizations: Stratégie Carrière and the Service d'accueil aux nouveaux Immigrants ( SANA).

Well then to continue the story, all that we had planned could not be done. Our "agent de Liaison" We called the hostel. That if we wanted to know the city. Of course! The mood was not for us males at the time. Desperately needed human contact. An hour later I was in the hostel waiting with a smile from ear to ear. We got the car and did our first tour. To start, we took the park Champlain, then to the port, then the Museum of the Ursulines and the College Saint-Joseph.
This is the port of Trois-Rivières, on the river Saint-Laurent.

Then best of all: He took us to SANA. And guess what? The director is Colombian! YES! And to add insult to injury is a fan of Cali as my love. Speak English to him was an immediate relief to your little heart. We told the story of the coming Super previous day ... And he died of laughter (Colombian typical reaction, making the tragedy a comedy). Scolding a means for our Liaison officer. SANA's send someone to look for people who come to the city as it is normal to feel enguayabados, worn and sad as we feel that day. In our case, someone forgot to notify the SANA our triumphant arrival Trois-Rivières.

Don Ivan (this is called the director) has told us a little encimita and trying to summarize a bit, his life in this city, has established nine years here. Don Ivan gives her one phrase to keep in your memory and especially to warm hearts cold as ours. Something we said this morning was: This is the place to turn their dreams into reality. This is a country to reap the fruits of their labor. Man did not tell one a Colombian nearly a decade in this city is to brighten up a cactus!

This is for you to see how a person with a little love can change the life of another. We have received much love, much love, not only Don Ivan, also many people in this city, we have practically a diabetic coma so sweet in life.

As I stretched a lot to the next story as I was that excess of affection and our facility in this city. (Again I leave the concerns of our adventures). I noticed in the post of the 770 days that would give much detail. I have wanted. I can do.

Centre-ville, Trois-Rivières, osease, the center of this city.
