Juana's cousin arrived about 3 weeks ago. It endured my nagging and after making almost every lap (Day or day and a half at most), began to send resumes. On Monday of last week was a first person interview with a company. Interview with human resources, technical review and interview with technical staff. Felt it was quite right in the exam. He said news would give 2 or 3 weeks.
The next day, Tuesday, they called to say he had passed the first stage and was now a second, consisting of checking references. For me, it was obvious that he had obtained the job. After turning in the references (Colombia), an hour later, they called to say he began to lock el lunes siguiente.
Podrían haber aplicado canadienses con menos experiencia o sin la required attitude or without the knowledge required.
You think that here companies are perfect, everything works like clockwork, that all processes and procedures are clearly defined and written and everyone follows them. Nothing. They have the same problems that always found in the Colombian organizations.
I hope the comments that say that the success of the cousin of my wife because you have a career in computing. For them the question: How to explain then that one encounters everywhere lawyers, notaries, nurses, doctors, architects, designers, administrators, managers and professionals from all types of course from all over the planet and whose accent and speech in English and French is equal to or worse than you hear of Latino newcomers?
For those who do not know, computer work required to speak and communicate well with humans. A lot. Not only with computers.
